Design Goals

This project reimagines a camp lantern through a Nordic design lens, focusing on simplicity, natural forms, and warm, inviting light. Inspired by organic elements like stones and acorns, the lantern offers a minimalist aesthetic and versatile use, allowing campers to create elegant, layered lighting in any outdoor setting.

Ideation

The ideation phase combined visual research, sketching, and prototyping to explore both aesthetic and functional possibilities. Moodboards helped define the project’s direction, while sketching enabled rapid iteration and problem-solving. Early prototypes were used to test form, scale, and structure, ensuring concepts were grounded before moving forward.
